Working on Time Management - 6 Weeks Postpartum

Working on Time Management - 6 Weeks Postpartum

I seriously cannot believe I have a 6 week old. The freakin time has flown & before we know it school will be starting (I know it started for some people) and it'll be the holidays. I love the holidays btw so I can't wait.

We've been spending a lot  time adjusting to being a family of 4 and I've been open to all options when it comes to finding ways to reduce time in doing everyday tasks.

*cues dinner*. With two kids under 3, one being a newborn making ANY meal takes 10000 times longer than it did before. One of the main things they tell you before giving birth is to freeze meals. Yea.... no. I didn't have (read:make) the time to do that.

Hype or Hoax? - Levain Bakery NYC

Hype or Hoax? - Levain Bakery NYC

I KNOW I'm not the only one that spends (probably too much) time watching those Insider videos on Facebook and then drooling and tagging people in the videos that I want to visit like "we NEED to go here!". My boyfriend and I have actually visited a few of the places that have popped up on our timeline and we honestly were disappointed by the first two we visited. They were definitely good but we just couldn't see the reason for the hype they were getting on social media.

*Insert Levain Bakery* because..... cookies...

Ciara Took Her Infant on a Toboggan and Social Media is BIG MAD as Usual

Seriously, can Ciara do ANYTHING without being attacked? CiCi shared a post of her family going down on the toboggan at the Great Wall of China and all the sancti-parents and Facebook trolls came out in full force to let her know just how bad of a mom she is:

APPARENTLY she is completely oblivious in the act of keeping her own child safe or making any decision about her own life for that matter *HARD eye roll*. Most of the comments were about Sienna but people were even upset she had Baby Future on the ride with her hubby.

I'm gonna go with this person's opinion.....

Mind your business! That's it. If you wouldn't take your child on a toboggan then that's amazing for you! It's not YOUR child. But... as we see all the time in the media poor Ciara can't do much without receiving heavy criticism.

What do you think? Lemme know in the comments below!

Top 5 Must Haves for an Amazing Curlfest Experience!

Top 5 Must Haves for an Amazing Curlfest Experience!

This past Saturday I attended Curlfest for the first time! It was amazing! I loved being in the presence of so much good vibes, fun music, amazing vendors and of course the #blackgirlmagic was on 1000! Since it was my first time I really had no idea what to expect and I can't lie I was super unprepared. Nonetheless, I had an amazing time and I can't wait to go back next year, but imma make sure I have my life together before I go! Hence, this post! I'm about to tell you all the things you need/need to do to make sure you have an amazing Curlfest experience!

1. Register/RSVP early & get the Early Bird ticket.

I missed out on all the swag cause I'm slow LOL. Even though I knew about the event super far in advance I had no idea when the tickets went on sale and when I did go to look.. sold out! Whomp whomp! You can stay up to date by following Curly Girl Collective on their website and social media. TRUUUUUUUST me it's worth it!

2. Get there EARLY!

I'm pretty sure this was the most crowded I've ever seen Prospect Park EVER! There were TONS of vendors out this weekend and the line was LONG for every one! A lot of vendors were giving out samples of products and if you wanna grab some then you gotta be there early to get it! Some vendors even ran out of products they were selling!
